SNOW GOGGLES PROJECT

Since it was founded in 1947, Ariete has become a leading supplier of rubber and plastic parts for the motorcycle industry. We have gained multiple world championships with our off-road and snowmobile goggles, and now present the new Snow range for skiers and Boarders.

Thanks to the quality of the materials used, and our technical capability, these goggles are a market-leading product. Our Snow goggles are conceived, engineered, designed and manufactured in Italy with Ariete Optics Technology.

Frame design

Engineered frame that satisfies the main structural requirements, necessary for SNOW SPORTS goggles willing to enter the market on top.The first step was a design planning able to point out the perfect ergonomics and fitting to the rider’s face: large surface areas that contain the soft face foam, realized with multi-layer expanded materials, in order to arrange homogeneously the facial pressure and at the same time to emphasize the comfort.

These technical expanded foams, both with open and closed cells and varied elastic memories, have a super soft techno-fabric layer made of no allergenic and hydro-absorbing polyester fibre in contact with the skin, whose function is limiting sweating problems by taking advantage of a rapid drying. The large field of vision, produced by the structural shape of the goggles, emphasizes the great visibility, both horizontal and vertical. This has been obtained without compromising the goggles’ dimensions, resulting in fact compact and perfectly compatible with all the brand-new SNOW SPORTS helmets.

Ariete Snow Sports spherical lenses technology

The lenses are CNC-machined one-by-one from injection-moulded polycarbonate* blanks. The sharpest-possible image is obtained, with minimal distortion and reduced eyestrain. The profile of the lenses gives a wider field of vision. Double lenses increase the anti-fog effect. The outer lens is made from polycarbonate, with an anti-fog inner lens in cellulose propionate. Our lenses provide 100% protection against UV-A, UV-B and UV-C radiation.

AVS VENTILATION SYSTEM

The Ariete Ventilation System uses carefully chosen areas for the intake and exhaust of cooling air. Airflow from the goggles, whose upper front profile is specially lowered to aid this process, enters the collecting vents at the front of the helmet, flows across the rider's head, and leaves the back of the helmet in a continuous process.
