Our planet is facing a critical climate situation and to avoid further destruction of our biosphere, we need to maintain the global warming under 2°C. Ariete is measuring the carbon emissions related to the business, reducing and compensating them, while aiming to become Carbon Neutral in the short term. Further step is going beyond with a stronger climate action strategy to protect the environment and become Net Zero in the near future. We act now for a better tomorrow!
OUR FIRST GREEN STEPS
Aiming to be a carbon-neutral company to fight global warming, we have prioritized targets that can be pursued immediateley while making business decisions based on environmental goals, not just profit. This means measure, reduce and offset the carbon footprint of Ariete production. The final result of carbon neutrality is achieved by the balance between caused and reduced emissions on the one hand and the offsetting of the remaining, unavoidable emission on the other.
8K: THE PIONEER
8K is not only our best goggle ever but our first carbon neutral product. By measuring, reducing and offsetting the carbon emissions of 8k products, we are limiting our impact on global warming while investing in certified carbon offset projects aimed at avoiding and removing carbon from the atmosphere. Isn’t amazing?

PRESERVE AND PROTECT
We compensate our carbon footprints with Forest Protection in Para’, Brazil project. It ensures that forests are preserved in the long term and that the protection of forests is given a higher value than their deforestation. We have chosen this carbon offset project in the Amazon forest as this is the place where the trade of natural rubber had started. This is the natural root of our core business, a further sensitive reason to take care of it, save it and become climate neutral.
ECOLOGICAL, SUSTAINABLE AND CARBON NEUTRAL
The cleanest energy is the one we don’t use. Working with ClimatePartner, we have been assigned “not just a label” but a unique ID and a tracking system to demonstrate our neutrality and allow our customers to get insights into our climate actions, from our total emissions, to our carbon offsetting projects, as well as any additional reduction measures we will undertake in the future.
